PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS

As Pablo Picasso once said, "Every child is an artist." At DPS Mahendra Hills, we are committed to nurturing our students' creativity and artistic abilities. Through the Performing and Visual Arts (PVA) program, we promote empathy, appreciation, and aesthetic sensibility, integrating the arts into both the core curriculum and specialized skill development in music, dance, and art.

DANCE

Dance fosters essential skills like creativity, communication, and collaboration. At DPS, students explore dance across various styles and forms, expressing their ideas through movement. Trained by experienced mentors, students perform at events like Annual Day and interschool competitions, while the curriculum is regularly updated to ensure excellence.

MUSIC

Music transcends language, fostering self-expression and cultural appreciation. Our music facilities include various instruments and resources, and regular competitions and workshops enhance students' musical abilities. Through comprehensive music classes, students learn rhythm, composition, and notation, participating in performances that showcase their talents.

ART

Art cultivates creativity and innovative thinking. DPS provides students with daily opportunities to engage with various art forms, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and craft. Art classes help students explore diverse techniques, build confidence, and deepen their understanding of cultures, aligned with the NEP’s focus on holistic education.
